Many people carry gifts — creativity, wisdom, practical skills — yet feel unseen or unable to participate in community life due to financial limits or lack of confidence.

The Sacred Skillshare Exchange honours all forms of contribution as valuable currency. Whether someone offers a haircut, a song, web support, childcare, reiki, cooking, or elder blessings — their gift is recognised, exchanged, and celebrated.

Who Can Take Part

This initiative is open to:

• ✔️ TUWC village residents (Streets to Success, Hearth to Home, Teens to Triumph)
• ✔️ Local community members
• ✔️ Elders offering wisdom, storytelling, and cultural teachings
• ✔️ People healing from homelessness, trauma, or life transition
• ✔️ Volunteers wishing to serve in a more soulful, reciprocal way

No one is excluded. Every gift counts.

How the Exchange Works

• ✔️ Participants list the skills or offerings they can provide
• ✔️ They browse or request the support they need
• ✔️ Exchanges are mutual, consensual, and facilitated by TUWC coordinators
• ✔️ A gentle “credit” system ensures balance and fairness
• ✔️ Vulnerable participants receive additional guidance and support

A dedicated platform (web + app) will simplify connections, scheduling, and community safety.

Safety, Integrity & Community Care

As a trauma-informed organisation, TUWC ensures all skillshare interactions are safe, respectful, and aligned. This includes:

• ✔️ Screening for sensitive roles (childcare, wellness, elder support)
• ✔️ Clear guidelines & consent agreements
• ✔️ Trained coordinators overseeing exchanges
• ✔️ Cultural sensitivity and accessibility practices
